Hi!
I’m John Schall, and I am a designer, photographer and artist. Printmaking has become a newly-found passion, and I am enjoying making prints and exploring image creation in a new way. I have been primarily a digital image maker in my career as a designer and photographer. The processes of printmaking push me to work with my hands to execute art and let chance be a driving force in the outcomes of what I create.
Conforent is a word that I made up in art school. We had a project where we had to make up a word and use it in an art critique. I made my word up combining the words: Context, Form, and Content. Conforent means using those three concepts effectively and equally. We had to act like our word was a real word and use it in a sentence while critiquing a classmate’s work in front of the class, “Your conforent poster design is inspiring and fills the viewer with surprise and wonder!”
